As soon as there will be snow down in the valley in the Chiemgau Alps, the time has come: The tobbogan run on the hills and mountains would only wait for you and your tobbogan.

At Ski Huber you will find first class tobbogans for 1, 2 and 3 persons made from wood to rent. For children we will supply a chair back. Besides, our range for tobbogan rental also consists of some bobs.

Directly besides our rental locations in Ruhpolding Maiergschwendt and at the Westernberg you will find suitable tobbogan slopes for the whole familiy which can be easily climbed on foot.

Of course there is a special tobbogan run in Ruhpolding close to the Unternberg at the Raffneralm. There you will also find some traditional cosy huts, as they are typical for the Alps, to relax.

The tobbogan runs and slopes in Ruhpolding are in part very long and the downhill time will need some minutes if you like. There you could start a real tobbogan race with your family and your friends as in the famous "Hornbach tobbogan race".

Tobbogan Race

Up on the starting place of the run one person of your group will note the exact starting time of anyone who will go for the run down to the valley. Best would be to start in intervalls of five minutes otherwise there will be some pushing.

Down at the arrival there will be another member of your group. He would note the exact arrival time of every tobbogan participant. When everybody has arrived you will calculate the run time for every person from the two lists. Look how easy it was to start a real tobbogan race ...
